Breadfruit is one of the most important crops in Micronesia. There are many different ways to cook it. Breadfruit is transformed into Kon, a ceremonial dish prepared with pride and reverence in Chuuk.

How It's Made :
From picking the breadfruit to pounding it into wooden bowls, the process is labor-intensive and steeped in tradition.
